Well I have not yet tasted there wine but I can tell you they made a very cool deck of playing cards to go along with it. So cool that when the crew at "Theory 11" saw it they worked out a deal with "Jaqk cellars" to reprint the deck! Reprint the deck they did and they sold out of them in about 1 week! Angel Back "Squeezers" 2 Deck Set, Limited. These decks have been reprinted in a limited run. The cards are printed on "bicycle stock" Each deck is factory new and sealed each deck has 2 jokers, a "history card" and a blank face card. Well I must say I have been collecting cards and selling them for a long time and certainly I am fimilar with the "Bulldog" Squeezer decks and they are a fine deck, but now there has been a "limited" Reprint run of the "Angel Back" Squeezers decks and I am very inpressed! the back design is a breath of fresh air from what seems like 12 new "Bicycle" decks coming out every month. They come in "red" and "Blue" back They are a nice quality card. The finish seems to be the same very similar to an "air cushion" they perform and handle very well. As a performer I would not hesitate to perform with them at all. They have a low"price point" so they are great for performing and collecting. The deck has an “Air Cushion” finish, 2 Jokers a signature red “Ace of spades” and 1 Monochrome “Transducer” 3D artwork card. Well that is all the promo info that "3K Studio" gives, Well here is the real information about this deck and considering I am in the business of selling "playing cards" what I have to say about this deck is the truth, certainly not good for "business" but it is the truth and in the long run the "truth" is much better for business then some "bullshit" promo so here goes, I don't remember any deck of cards being such a disappointment to open in my life. There has been so much "hype" about the "Transducer Decks" being from "Japan" and they are hard to get and costly. Well the box is very cool but once you open it here comes the disappointment! "The back design of the cards is only "one" color but on the box it is "three" There other then the "one color" back design there is nothing special about this deck the is no artwork on the cards, not on the "Jokers" not the "Ace of spades" nothing! it is a "standard Bicycle deck" They give you a "3K Studio's" ad card and a "Red" "Ace of Spades" It looks to me that the "Crew" at "3K Studio" put all there work into the box design and stopped there hoping that everyone would love the "box" design and never open it I guess? If you are a "collector" like I am, Its worth picking one up for your collection because sitting on the self it will look cool. But to the "Crew" at "3K studio's" I say BOOOOOOOO! It is my option that you were just looking to make a quick buck so you put a "shit" deck in a attractive "box" obviously much more concerned with lining your "pockets" then with the "playing card or magic" community. This is the "first" and "last' time I will carry your products! Erdnase Black Limited Edition 2 Deck Set

Black Erdnase Limited Edition Bee Deck Set. These Limited Edition Black Erdnase Bee Decks are printed on exclusive “Bee” Casino 825 paper and made with a special coating to ensure the best handling. They were cut the same way that the “gold seal Bicycle decks” by Richard Turner were cut, so they have “faro” and “shuffle” very well. The decks have a “Black smith back” name in honor of Marshall D. Smith the Illustrator of The Expert at the Card Table. The back design is actually made up of tiny reproductions of the hands in the illustrations of the book. The faces and art work of the decks are the original faces and style that were used by the USPCC in 1902. This design has a somewhat larger pip with smaller index. Each deck comes with 2 jokers and a “Ask Alexander “ card that has a web address for Ask Alexander which is a magic database that is part of ConjeringArts.org You must be a paid member of the site to access this data base. The decks do not have white borders.

The 2 decks in this set have identical boxes and cards, the only difference is that 1 deck has a “smooth finish” and 1 deck has a “Cambric Finish” I love these decks they are a very cool collector's item and they are fantastic for performing. The cards are "thick" and have a great "snap to them. I personally prefer the "smooth" finish to perform with this smooth finish deck reminds me a lot of the "Aladdin" decks one of my all time faviorte. The Cambric finish deck well that is the same finish that is on the "Brown Wynn" Decks that "Theory 11" put out and those are one of the most popular decks ever so I guess you can't go wrong. I do wish the box design was made to look like a mini "expert at the card table book" as in the green decks, a "black version" would look like a little bible. Also the fact that there is no way to tell the 2 decks apart without opening them, That sucks! Please note: I know the difference in the decks because the shipping boxes they arrived in were marked I have opened decks from each to verify this to be true, If you purchase these decks from me I will mark the smooth deck with a "post it" that will easily remove from the cellophane without causing any damage. Sentinels Deck, Theory 11

Sentinels Deck, by Theory 11. Well here is the newest release in a long line of brilliant products produced by our friends at Theory 11. The Sentinels Deck. So here you go, The deck is just what you would expect form theory 11, dam cool and 1st class! The box is about as sexy as you can get and the "back design" is among my all time favorites! The quality is... well its theory 11, nuff said! The deck is great top perform with and handles very well. I must admit I am not in love with the face of the cards, the corner pips are very small and although I applaud the design work and originality its just does not get a "rise" out of me, the back design on the other hand "Swing" unbelievable! I love it! As far as for collector's well its not a "bicycle" deck, and that "brand" means a lot to many collectors, but if you are a hardcore "bicycle" fan and you don't pick up this deck just because it does not say "bicycle" you are a fool! This deck is just the current masterpiece from theory11 and I am sure there will be many more to come, great job guys as always I thank you for doing "good" for the playing card and the magic industry. Fantasy Deck, Anne Stokes, Limited Edition

The "Fantasy" Deck is a Deck of Bicycle Playing Cards that features the world acclaimed Fantasy artwork of artist "Anne Stokes" The United States Playing Card Company produced this deck as a "Limited test run" printing and at this time has not decided if they will or will not ever print this deck again. Each card in the deck has a different image. Ok so here we have a winner! A hot goth chick, dragons, skulls beautiful art work, and did I mention the hot goth chic! New Alchemy Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards, Limited Edition. The Alchemy Deck was inspired by iconic and retro Tattoo imagery. This deck was produced by the United States Playing Card Company and was printed as a "limited test run" At this time the usppc is undecided if they will or will not ever print this deck again. Every card in this deck has a different image on the face. So here is my thoughts, At first glance you will be taken back by the printing of this deck, The uspcc has come up with a way to take "full color" printing to the next level. The deck is a bit over the top, but it sure does have its place, The box is a perfect 10! This is what a "Skull" deck should look like. (Take note magic makers, a piss poor attempt even for you) The quality is OK, feels a bit thinner than a regular "bike" deck to me, but I am not sure how much the quality matters for this deck, I cant believe anyone is going to perform with this one. Overall my favorite thing about this deck is the way it looks sitting on the self, I don't care whats inside. This deck is a collectors sick wet dream! KARNIVAL RYUJIN's represent a totally new look for a Bicycle Deck, incorporating beautiful oriental styled imagery and a glossy metallic gold ink. With a brand new, eye catching back design… new Ace Of Spades, new Jokers, new case and two useful bonus cards. The metallic gold ink has also been used to replace all the red from the faces of the deck, creating a truly distinctive pack of cards. Designed by renowned artist Sam Hayles and printed on a thick, high grade stock these are truly beautiful. This Deck has the U.S.P.C.C. Famous "Air Cushion" Finish. White Knuckle Deck, Produced by USPCC. Designed by Brett A. Jones. The White Knuckle Deck is truly a work of art. The entire deck was drawn fee-hand by Artist Brett A. Jones of Australia. The decks took over 5000 hours and more than 2 years to complete. The deck has exquisite beauty and meticulous detail like no other deck ever produced. Each deck has the 52 cards, 2 jokers, a "blank face card" and a description card about the artist. The White Knuckle Decks are not just exquisite works of art, but truly elegant playing cards. This is truly a premium grade playing card.
OK, so there you have the description but now you will get my thoughts, Forget "White Knuckle" this deck should be called "Cleavage & Peaches" This deck is absolutely amazing! It is a must have! The decks are made of a high quality "Bicycle Stock" have white borders and "Air Cushion" finish. The "Red" and "Blue" colors are not Standard colors and have a unique "Gold" color on the design. Yomiuri Giants, Bicycle Playing Cards

Yomiuri Giants, Bicycle Playing Cards. These 2 decks were made by The United States Playing Card Company for the "Yomiuri Giants" baseball team in Japan. These decks are rare were printed in a limited quantity and only released in Japan. One deck has an orange "rider back" design white face cards and black and orange pips. The other deck has a white "rider back" design with the full bleed orange color face cards with white and black pips. Both decks are a good quality "Bicycle" deck "air cushion finish" both decks come with "jokers"and some extras (see video) These decks were only released in "Japan" the are very hard to find and take a lot of time and extra costs to get here due to the low value of the U.S. dollar, customs and shipping. This is the second time a deck was produced for a Baseball team in Japan, the first time was for the "Hanshin Tigers" Those decks are sold out now, even in Japan. If you have one good for you and your collection. I had very few of them to sell and I am now sold out too. I have learned to never say never but I really don't think I will get any more of them again. I am sure that the "Giants"decks with follow the same path and will be gone for good soon, So get them while you can. I do have a limited supply but there are going fast. These two decks are cool, not sexy but cool. As a performer I really don't see much call for these out working. But who care, These are the types of decks that collectors go "ape shit" for we get them never open them put them on the self and so everyone that comes by our prize, Knowing full well that unless they have the same "playing card sickness" as us, they look smile and have no idea what the big deal is! Red Dragon Deck, Bicycle playing cards. Here we have the newest release from "Magic Markers" The "Red Dragon Deck" Well before I go on about this deck I should probably start by saying I am not a big fan of "magic makers" or there decks of playing cards. They have produced may decks over the years and some have been pretty good, others not. I will let you decide for your self about this one but here is my take. The "Red" and "Yellow" box, well it is a bit loud for my taste but it sure as hell stands out from the other decks on the shelf. Anyone who knows me knows I have a love for dragons and I know there are many different types but the dragon on the front of the box? Are you kidding? I have seen nicer dragons on a Chinese food menu. Now that I have that off of my chest, the quality of the deck, well the quality is "Magic Makers" the same as all there other decks middle of the road. The deck does come with some extras a blank face, a double backer, a double backer that is red on one side and yellow on the other and a "dragon" card just in case you cant get enough of that "great" dragon artwork from the front of the box! Hey I know I am beating up this deck, and that is a very silly thing to do as a business man that has theses decks for sale. But everyone has there own likes and dislikes. You may think this is a fantastic deck and you would be right, for you. Its just not for me. When I started this "Blog" I started it to give an honest opinion and I always do that. Smoke & Mirror V4 " The Green deck" Well Dan and Dave have done it again but this time they have done it the best! This new version of the "Smoke & Mirror" deck is the best! There are a lot of changes for this one, First of all there is no longer a "Smoke" deck and a "Mirror" deck the two have become one. this S&M v4 deck is "Green" and a dam cool green it is. The deck has a "retro" simplified back design, and was printed with a "Green" metallic ink, this is not that "Foil" Cheesy metallic look i.e. the box of the "Bicycle 125th anniversary decks" This is a "sexy" metallic that gives each card a fantastic "green" shimmer. The court cards are the classic S&M style but of course with the green mixed in. The deck was also crafted on recycled paper. The quality of the deck is "top notch" that should go without saying. If Dan and Dave put there name on something you know that anything less the top quality is not an option. I am so happy to see that this deck is all new, when the S & M "luxury Edition" came out I was very disappointed, Dan and Dave are way to talented to keep putting out the same decks and just change the name, But they did a fantastic job with the V4! As like every deck in the "Smoke and Mirror" line i am sure that this deck will sell out quick, maybe quicker then all the others due to the complete overhaul! so do not delay get your S&M V4 decks today while you still can! White Raider Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards. Well today we have a fantastic new deck to talk about. The "White Raider" Deck is the newest edition of the "Raider" deck. The original "Raider" was "black" That was a 1st class deck and this one follows in the same footsteps. This one maybe even a little better because of an extra card that comes with the deck that I will talk about later in the blog. This deck is "Awesome" it is top quality. The artwork is "sexy" and the "Court Cards" are stunning! You want more? OK the deck comes with the signature "Raider Ace of Spades" 2 cool jokers and here is the best part for performers A "Double Backer" that is "Black" on one side and "White" on the other a perfect complements to both of the "Raider" Decks ! Erdnase Deck, The Expert at the card table. well if today is the first time you are hearing about the "Erdnase" deck, write down the date and time because this very well may be the coolest deck of cards you will ever find! I mean it this deck is Fantastic in every way! The "Erdnase deck" is for sure one of my favorite decks of cards and maybe my #1 all time favorite deck! The Box is a "Mini" replica of the original edition on the book "The Expert at the card table" by "Erdnase" One of the most popular card magic books ever. The book was first printed in 1902 and the design and "green" color have been captured here in the "Erdnase deck" Inside you get 2 ad cards that are also replica's of the books pagers! A custom "Erdnase" "Ace of spades" and 2 "jokers" all that feature "nuts" that's because this deck is "the nuts". The stock is "aristocrat" with a classic"Bee" back design, white border, "unique green color". This deck handles like a dream, a "wet" dream if you are a performer! This deck is a 10 in every way! Color, presentation, quality and straight up coolness. This deck is a must have for performers and collectors! Mark my words you want to have some of these decks. They will be gone soon and you will wish you had them, they are sure to be on of the most collectible deck ever released. It sure is one of the nicest decks I have ever seen. Karnival Renegades, Bicycle playing cards. Here we have the 4th deck release in the "Karnival" series. produced by Big Blind Media. Well when the first "Karnival" deck came out it caused an uproar! It was different from anything else out there it brought "Death" to playing cards and did a very nice job of not making it look juvenile or like it belonged in a mall store that sells other"Skull" stuff to teenagers. But I am afraid that with the 4th release we are now traveling the same route as most "horror movies" travel by the 3rd or 4th movie. The quality is the same as all the other "Karnival" decks "Standard" it performs well. It comes with the "Karnival Renegades" "Ace of Spades" 2 jokers, a "double backer" and a "gaff card" Other for your friends, teenagers, Halloween party or "Dexter Morgan" I am not sure how many venues this deck would be well received at. On that thought, If ever meet "Dexter Morgan" I am doing card magic for him using the "Karnival decks" for sure!!! "Karnival decks" have been made in "White", "Black", "Red" and now you can have skulls, Bombs, hatchets, knifes and everything else you mother warned you about in blue! All kidding aside, the deck is worth having. Its just the concept is getting old. I loved "Nightmare on elm street" and "Friday the 13th" the first few times.... Look on the bright side, You can cross that hard to buy for sociopath off your Christmas list because the "Renegades" are here! Fuchsia, Turquoise Bicycle Playing Cards. I usually don't combine decks in a blog or review but in this case it just works, so here we go. These two decks were made by the United States Playing Card Company for "Vincenzo Di Fatta" of Italy. He is the man who has had most of the "Color" rider back 808 bicycle decks made. There is not much special about the decks, they are standard in every way except the color's and the fact the both decks come with 2 "Black" face cards which does come in handy for performing. The jackpot for these 2 decks comes for the collector's. Until now the only way you could get these 2 decks was if you bought a box set of 8 color decks from "Di Fatta" Which many people did not do because they did not want to spend $80.00 to get 8 decks when the really only wanted 2 of them, not that the other decks do not have value, that is not the case at all. Just that the other 6 decks have been around for a while and most collector's already had them. Well obviously that marketing strategy was poor. Because now he has released the decks individually. I am sure if those box sets were not flying off the shelves or they would not released them now individually. Well anyway this is great news for collector's because now you can buy the decks at a very reasonable price. The people that believed the hype and bought the box set because they were under the impression that was going to be the only way to ever get them, Sorry I never carried the "box set" I thought it was a stupid idea. Regardless these decks are cool and now is the perfect time to add them to your collection. English Laundry Deck, By Christopher Wicks, Well here we have something new and different! I like this deck a lot. The deck is poker sized ,printed on "Bicycle" stock and has a metallic ink it, the backs look very "Classy" What else would you expect from the English right? This deck was produced exclusively for "Dan and Dave" and in "limited quantity's. I have no idea how limited but if it is like every other deck that "Dan and Dave" have been involved with they they will be should out quick so you better not wait to get your while you still can. The deck as printed on "Bicycle" stock but there is something about it that seems to handle better then a "Bicycle" deck. in my opinion maybe the ink? maybe that "English" thing, but it handles very nice. the deck comes with a "Blank" face and a "Double Backer" handy for performing. The court cards are all "Tricked out" with fine "English style" art. The only thing I am not to excited about is the name "English Laundry"? not my "cup of tea" but then again I am "America" I like hot dogs, tattoos, apple pie and Baseball. Alchemist X Limited Edition, Bicycle Playing Cards. Well a few months ago we were introduced to the "Alchemist" Deck and now we have the follow up to that the "Alchemist X" Deck this is basically the same deck as the first but the first was "White" this is "Black"I liked the first deck and I like this one too. The only real difference besides the color is that this deck has a "Fingerprint gaff card" the first deck did not. the most important think I can tell you is get this deck quick. Brown Bicycle Playing Cards Rider Back 808. Well we have a new deck out that "Performers" and people that like the color "Brown" will be very excited about! This deck is the standard "Bicycle Rider Back" deck But we now have a new color "Brown" there are 11 different colored "standard rider back" decks on the market ( I believe) already and now we have 12, Did we need another color? Sure we did, colors are cool ! I remember that not to long ago you would have gladly sold off body parts to find a "Bicycle" deck in any other colors then, Red, Blue or Black and you still could not find them, As a Magician those days sucked and I am glad to see them go. So bring on the colors. The only unsure thought I have about this "brown deck" is the the "Brown" color is very, very close to the "gold" rider back maybe a little to close, but what the hell do I know? Bicycle Playing Cards Limited Edition Series # 2. Well maybe 2010 is going to be a good for card collectors, Not because this is the greatest deck I have ever seen but because the U.S.P.C.C. did release the # 2 edition in this series. The U.S.P.C.C. has a habit of starting ideas and never finishing them ( vintage design) but so far so good. Because we now have 2 decks now in the "Limited Edition Series" There is suppose to be 10 total in this series, Well we will have to wait and see for that, I am not holding my breath but we have 2 for now. I like this deck even more then the first. The back design does not look like they used an excising design and just mixed it up like the first. This one looks cool and new! Good Job! The faces are very "bicycle standard" which is fine, The backs are very unique! Performers usually want a white border on there cards to perform with and this deck does not have a white border, But if you are a performer and like the look of the deck I am sure you will adapted. Collectors will like it also nice box, It stands out nicely. These decks are very affordable so grab some now, I have no idea how long they will be printing this deck and the U.S.P.C.C. probably does not either but the good news is the value of the #1 editions will continue to go up the more new decks they release in the series. Bicycle 125th Anniversary Edition Deck

Bicycle 125th Anniversary Edition Deck. The USPCC is turning 125 years old in 2010. I don't know if they are having a party? I think there are still trying to get back on track after the big move to "Kentucky" But anyway they have made a new deck to celebrate this historic event. I will be the first person to shake my head at the USPCC for the way they do things but I am thankful for them. I could not image what the "Magic" world would be like without them and there "Bicycle" Playing Cards. i must say that this deck is pretty cool It comes in "Red or "Blue" nice quality, the finish you have come to love some "Old Time" pips, court cards, aces and jokers. I think the back design is real cool! Every card has the anniversary dates on the side of the face. The seal on the box says 125 years and the box is printed in shinny metallic ink which looks real nice, Not the sexiest designed box I have ever seen but it is not suppose to be I guess? Anyway this deck is hard to find right now because it will not be released to the world until 2010. Of course that is the plan right now, who knows what will happen there has been some real strange things happen to decks and the release plan so we will just wait and see. But you can get them right now, I have them. This cost is low and this deck does have huge potently to be a truly great collectible. I am not sure if that will happen with The USPCC in charge of it marketing but we will have to wait and see. This deck is a great deck for performing or everyday play. The Arcane Deck, by Ellusionist Well here we have the latest effort from the "Ellusionist" I must give credit were it is due, These guys turned the playing card industry upside down and kicked it in the ass when the released the "Black Tiger " Deck. Well there has been tons of decks released from everyone you can think of since then but one thing you know, When "Ellusionist" makes a deck it is cool, performing worthy and high quality! The "Arcane" decks follow in this tradition very nicely. They come in "Black" or "White" have "Sexy" backs, cool "Alien chick" jokers a "double backer" everything you have come to expect. I love this deck, (especially the "White" the black is cool but overall the cards just seem a little to dark to me, but what do I know?) You will love it too, for performing, collecting, playing poker for the next 6 years in you cell while you await your release, it does not matter this deck is 1st class! Smoke & Mirror Decks, Luxury Edition

OK, So we now have the new "Smoke and Mirror" Luxury Edition by "Dan and Dave" the Buck twins. This is the 3rd printing of this deck. Dan and Dave are "Jedi" when it comes to cards So you know that they would not put there name on a deck if it did not have plenty of quality and just like the first 2 editions if you are a performer you will like this deck it handles great. If you are a collector you should get your hands on a few decks fast because they do make a lot of theses decks and once they sell out they become very hard to find and you know what that means.... The price goes way up. So get them fast! I love this deck, and I think "Dan and Dave are among the best they have done a lot of "Good for magic" but I must be honest. I am a bit disappointed, They first put out the original "Smoke and Mirror" Decks that was cool! Then they put out the "Special Edition" Decks, well OK because they did change the "court cards" and they put "Special Edition" on the box. But now we have the "Luxury Edition" What the hell is going on here? The "Mirror luxury Deck" does come with two "Ace of Spades" one "White" face and one "Black" face and that is cool, but other then that it is the same deck as before? Oh of course this box says "Luxury Edition" which is good for collecting, but that is a term I look for more in a "Car" then a deck of cards ! The deck is great but please stop here guys. You have to much creativity, talent and credibility to turn this into the "Playing Card" equivalent of so many bad horror movies that go on and on until part 14. "Smoke and Mirror" was a fantastic idea and a first class deck! But I think its time to produce another new fantastic idea. I really don't want to see the "Super Duper Secret Agent Edition" next. The Karnival Assassins Deck, Bicycle playing cards. Well they are here and I must say I had mixed thoughts as I have been waiting for this deck. I always like to see new decks come out, it is good for business but when I fist saw the promo photos for the deck I thought WTF? This is looking a bit tacky? It made me think of a comic book or a video game not a deck of cards. So when they showed up on my porch today I did not know what to feel, but The folks a "Big Blind Media" did a great job. The quality is nice, they handle, fan, farrow and perform well I expected all that. What I was really happy to see is the print quality of the cards is very good! The colors are deep and bright and crisp! The card backs have the same nice bright colors as the box. This is something that drives me nuts! You get a new deck and the box has a nice dark black color on it and then you open the box and the cards are more of a charcoal gray. Honestly the "Karnival Midnights" are guilty of this the color of the cards don't look as nice as the box. But they got it right this time and its a dam good thing because if all that red looked "pink" instead of "red" this deck would suck. I don't fault the creators of the deck when this happens, It is much more likely that it is a quality control issue with USPCC. Anyway this deck came out right! Its got great jokers and "Ace of Spades" a "double backer" a "force card" and some goodies printed on the box so it has what the performers need, probably not the best choice for kids cards tricks though.But that is up to you. The deck will stand out from the rest of the collection that's for sure. Never underestimate the power of a skull, gun, coffin, blood and bullets its a great way to say I love you to someone special and the holidays are just around the corner! Alchemist Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards. Ok here is a cool new deck on the market. The deck was designed by "Stephen Rooks" I don't do who he is? But I don't know a lot of things and that don't make them bad. As far as the name "Alchemist" I don't know what the hell that means? But I do know it is a cool deck ! I was told there were only 2001 decks made. The "Ace of Spades" and the box feature a cool skull, The backs feature some real nice design and detail and are a very unique "Gold" color. The courts cards also sport this "Gold" color and quickly became one of my favorite color schemes of court cards ever. The backs are not standard "Bicycle" which is refreshing to me but you may or may not like that? The deck has some extras for performing. A double backer, A blank face backer, and a box that showcases the "6 of spades" on flaps and "7 of spades" written on the bottom of the box. The deck comes with 2 jokers that look cool, but I can not figure out what the hell I am looking at to save my life. I have looked at them many times and in different states of intoxication and still don't know what the hell they are suppose to be! They have "White" borders and handle very, very nicely! This is a great deck for performers and collectors alike and with the limited printing get them quick because I bet they will be gone soon! Tactical Field, Bicycle Playing Cards. This deck was produced By The United States Playing Card Company for the military. The box comes sealed with a dark green cellophane. It has a standard "Bicycle" Back that comes in a dark Army "Green" or "Black" but here is the twist, There is no way of knowing which color is in what box until you open the box. I guess when you spend all your time risking your life to defend the freedom of others you could give a shit less about the "Color" on the back of a deck of cards! Thank You to all that have served! The faces of the cards are also standard but the "Red" used in the printing is a darker red, not the standard "Red" in most "Bicycle" decks. The best thing for performers is that stock that was used on these decks was a much better quality then normal. They feel much more like a "Tally-Ho" then a bicycle. I do not believe these decks are still being made even for the Military. I know they are getting very, very hard to find. This deck is a true gem to perform with or to collect. The Raider Deck, Ok now we are talking! I have not been this excited about a new deck is a while, a long while, to dam long as a matter for fact! But this deck is everything a quality deck should be and I would buy the folks at "Magic Network" a drink if I ever run into them because they did a great job on this deck. The back design is sexy! The court cards have a color combination that just pops. Many other decks in the past have had a color scheme on court cards that make me vomit a little in my mouth every time I look at them. But ever person that I have shown these to says "WOW" The deck quality is very high I am talking about right up there with "Black Tigers" and "Ghost" just to name a few of the high quality decks, Speaking of "Ghost" just for a side note: The "White Ghost" Deck is one of my most favorite decks ever, but I almost never perform with them because of what they did to the "Pips." They have the red "pip" cards have red and "black" pips on them. When you show someone a "Heart" card with that deck, the heart is "Black" I think that this is very cool, but most people can not follow a routine, when they see there card is a jack of hearts and the heart is "Black". Crimson Deck, by Dan Sperry. Ok lets get into this deck, Well we now have a deck that has razor blades, goth, wings, blood all kinds of fun loving stuff! Well I like blood and razorblades as much as anyone, maybe more? But the box looks more like the cover of a video game then a deck of cards to me. It sure is different and that gets big points from me. But other then a "Halloween" gig or going to my shink's office and offering to show him a trick with this deck ( that should get my meds adjusted) I am not to sure you will be sporting this deck out on to many gigs. Hey it sure will add some character to that collectors shelf though! The card backs are cool I like the red/black fade and it really pops with the white border. Standard court cards. the deck has 2 jokers but I am not sure what the hell they are suppose to be? The cards handle well, fan great but they feel a bit thin to me. This can be good or bad depending on your personal preference. Overall quality I think is middle of the road. The deck is strange and different looking, If you are a collector like me it will give you something to talk about with all the nice people that come over to visit and are kind enough to pretend they understand your strange addition to playing cards. The Midnight Karnival Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards Oh yeah baby!!! This is by far the best thing that has happened in my week! (says a lot about my life huh?) But really I love this deck. Just like the first (white) Karnival deck this deck is "sick" but its black and has more skulls and that makes it just a little sicker! Hey another great job by the folks at "Big Blind Media" they did it again. Just off the press is part 2 to the karnival deck and this time they brought it to the dark side. The quality you need to perform as well as a "double backer" and two cool ass jokers and other goodies on the box case. Grateful Dead Deck, Lets put aside all the new stuff that is coming out for the collectors and performers for just a bit and lets talk about a deck of cards that was produced for one of the worlds most legendary bands. This deck of cards was originally produced by Grateful Dead Productions, Inc in 1998 for a concert souvenir giveaway. This concert was canceled and these cards never were distributed to the public. This poker deck is comprised of fifty-two cards and include two jokers. The court cards include, two one-eyed jacks, a one-eyed king, and a suicide king. Art Direction by Patricia Harris, Lettering and Illustrations by Michael R. Everett. The deck is made of high quality stock and is as visual and unique as any deck I have ever see. This deck of course would be a perfect gift for any "Dead Head"... Well I can think of other things that may be more perfect but, you will be assuming a lot more risk giving a "trip" to a friend. But seriously, The art work on this deck is "mind blowing" I love it! It is for sure one of my top10 favorite decks of all time. It is truly unique and beautiful. OK not beautiful in a soft, sweet kind of way. But if your like me (granted most are not) I see the beauty of a rose, but think the thorn is pretty dam sexy too! This deck is truly a collectible. Black Spider Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards. Well I guess this the spring of 2009 is the spring of the insect. I am not the brightest guy in the world but do I see a pattern here? Well honestly its a pattern I could live without. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with this deck. The deck is made of fine quality and I am happy to have it in my collection. The deck is nice and visual and comes with 3 "gaff" cards and a joker that features the "Spider" The ace of spades also features the "spider". "Magic Makers" makes nice decks of cards that usually feature the "full bleed" color face. I guess "beef" is not with the product but with a lack of creativity in the playing card industry as a whole? We got the "Black Scorpion Deck" about 3 weeks ago, New we get the "Black Spider Deck" if the "Blue Snake" and the "Green Ant" are crawling there way into the market place next, I think I might need to get my "meds" adjusted! For an industry that is made up of performers that are some of the most creative people in the world, Sometimes the products that are produced just lack creativity in my option. Maybe I just realized the problem in the middle of all my blabber! Maybe if only performers were putting out products they would be creative but I guess we have companies putting out products because its good for business. In this economy we do need all the good business we can get. But that being said my hat goes off to "Theory 11" "Big Blind Media" "Ellusionist" "Parody Productons" and everyone else that brakes there ass to design original products for us all the time. Performers, This is a fine deck and you will enjoy performing with it. Collectors, I know you have plenty of "Black" decks on the self but non with a creepy ass spider! Everyone else, as in the "Black Scorpion" Blog if you know anyone that has a "Spider"tattoo, the holidays will be here before you know it and you shopping delema is already solved in mid march! Black Scorpion Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards

Black Scorpion Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards. Here is the newest of the new, and in the playing card world if you archive that title its yours for a few weeks anyway. At first glance this deck appears to be a follow up to the "Black Tiger" Deck. I guess there are only a few problems with that The "Black Scorpion" deck was designed by "magic makers" and the "Black Tiger" by ellusionist. Such is the playing card business. Unless this is your first day on earth you should not be surprised that 2 different manufactures have created a similar deck. The good news is the "Black Scorpion" is also a nice deck of cards with fine quality. In my opinion the quality of the stock is not quite as nice as a "Tiger" or a "Ghost" deck, but close and and certainly as nice as all the other color decks "Magic Makers" has put out in the past, So if you love all those decks you will love this one too. The Yellow on Black color combination really does "pop" visually. The "Clubs" and "Spades" have yellow pips and the "Hearts" and "Diamonds" white pips. The court cards have a yellow, white and blue combination. Of course the "Ace of Spades" features the signature "Scorpion". A nice twist in this deck for performers, The deck comes with 52 standard cards and 4 extra gaff cards as well as instructions on ticks that can be performed with the gaff cards. Every little extra helps in my book. I was hoping for a double backer though, out of luck this time no double backer. But plenty of "tricked out" Scorpion stuff. So if you are a Performer you will want this deck. If you are a Collector hell you will want this just for the box alone. Brown Wynn Deck. Lets chat about this deck, it has become one of the most collectible decks over the last year or so. First of all it is a new casino deck that has never been used or opened.It is from one of the most famous casinos in the world "Wynn Casino" in Las Vegas. That alone makes its pretty cool in my book but here is where it gets real sexy. Someone at "Theory 11" got there hands on the entire batch of "Brown Wynn Logo decks" Now before I go any further let me say up front, I think "Theory 11" is one of the best things that has happened to magic in a long time. I love "Theory 11" Well since they control all the "Brown Wynn" they release them in very limited numbers and few and far between.To there credit they also sell them at a very fair price if you can get them during a release window,if you can it sure is your lucky day cause it sure as hell is not easy! Well all that being said they have become one of the most sort after decks on the market and that means the price goes up! Simple supply and demand. Well truth be told they are a very fine deck and handle great, But I do laugh because the same "Wynn Logo" deck is available in "Red" and "Violet" of course you can find the "Red" and "Violet" with nowhere near the difficulty of the "Brown" and this is also reflected in the price. Much, Much cheaper then the brown. As a collector, I understand the value of the "Brown" deck and have no problem with it. It is exactly what a collectible deck should be, A hard to find trophy you place in your collection and brag that you have. As a performer, If you like the look and feel of this deck and you want to perform with it, Use the "Red" or "Violet" they are much cheaper to buy and they are the same dam deck. I know some of you will say "the brown feels just a little different". Well that's just things we as collectors tell ourselves to help justify paying the amount of money we do for the shit we love that other people just don't understand. I do it all the time myself, but its the same dam deck. Ok, here is something New and Different! Most of all it’s really a very nice product too. "Prestige Deck" Bicycle Playing Cards by The United States Playing Card Company. This deck is 100% Plastic. Finally, An inexpensive quality "Plastic" Playing cards. I know you can always buy "Kem" Cards and you can if you want to buy a set of cards and pay twice the price. don’t get me wrong I have nothing against "Kem" But in my option the "Prestige" Deck is a much nicer quality and cost you a lot less. This deck is the nicest plastic playing cards I have ever seen! These cards will last a long, long time and come in a reusable hard plastic case. Having a party and someone gets some dip on the card or spills something on the cards. Take them to the sink wash then off, dry them off and they are good as new! Sure if you want to try to destroy them you will be able to but, under normal wear and tear of a card game or party this deck will last YEARS! They come in "Red or "Blue" and they are great cards to have around when the kids come over and want to play cards. We the kids leave you still have a "Prestige" Deck in excellent shape. This deck is probably not going to be the hottest thing for performers (unless you are working the beach and need a card to withstand the elements) But for players and tournaments this is a must have! Now that you have my option you can all rest easy and sleep well. My rating as far as for plastic cards….. I give the "Prestige Deck" a perfect 10! Eco Edition, Bicycle Playing Cards. We have a new deck and it has Color!This deck is dedicated to the environment. The box say" Our Playing Cards are crafted from sustainable paper; starch-based laminating glue and vegetable based printing inks.This pack of cards is recyclable. The deck is a standard "bicycle deck but with some great green colors and a one of a kind, very cool brown cardboard box with the recyclable symbol right on it.The deck comes factory sealed but no cellophane wrap. As a performer I am not sure how much call you would have to use this deck?Unless you have a gig for a environmental group, earth day or some happy go lucky tree hugger ( these gigs are around just not everyday) But if you do they will perform just fine. As a collector the deck is very cool! The USPCC seems to make cool decks for everyone else but somethimes falls short when making something for themself. Not this time this deck is cool. The cards have a great bleand of green color and the box is "Wicked Cool" thats a boston thing. the deck will really standout amoung your collection and wont brake the back to buy.I know its a standard bike deck but because of the colors and the box I would rate it a 7.5. Bicycle Playing Cards, Limited Edition Series

Guess what? Yes another new deck on the market and its WHITE & BLACK ! OK, so I still wish someone would print something with color but here goes. This new deck is the 1st in a series of 10 that will be produced by The United States Playing Card Company under its "Limited Edition" title. That in itself will have some great collectivity and lets hope they actually make all 10 decks unlike the "Vintage Design" Series they put out and only made 6 out of 12 decks? This deck is a standard "Bicycle"deck but with a white back and art work similar to a "Poker Peek" I must say the part of the deck I like best is the box, the 3 color design Black, Gold and White is eye catching and looks great among the standard 2 color designs of most decks. The ad card inside the box claims that this deck will only be available for a limited time. For a collector that would be prize, because as a performer there is not to much exciting about this deck, Standard "bicycle deck" different back and I can think of many other decks that fall into this group that the back design in more attractive. But if you collect cards like I do you will want it, and lets wait and see how they handle the next 9 decks in the series? The real good news is for a deck that is the first deck in a series and is on a limited time frame, it sure is affordable.
My overall rating if I consider a standard bike deck a 5 then this is a 6, but that could go much higher on the collectors side ... we will see what the future brings my advice, Get this deck now while they are easy to find and cheap!

Karnival Deck , Bicycle Playing Cards

Karnival Deck, Bicycle Playing Cards here is the newest Black and White deck in the recent line of many. The quality is bicycle with the "Air Cushion" Finish so they handle great. The deck comes with 2 jokers, one holding the 3 of hearts. 1 double back card and the deck has a very slight one way mark on the back which could be used in countless tricks. I personally am growing a bit tired on Black and White decks this seems to be the only thing coming out now but that being said, This deck is Macabre looking and I like it! They handle just like a standard bike deck, real nice fresh out the box. The deck is rare and was produced in a limited run. Get them while they last because I think they will go the way of the "Smoke" & "Mirror" decks gone soon. Karnival is a fine deck, I wish it had some blood red color mixed in but even without these cards handle well and look sick! Aladdin Playing Cards, By The United States Playing Card Co. The company that has brought you "Bicycle Playing Cards" and dam near ever other deck too. Theses decks are rare to find in the United States. They are made two ways, "Airflow finish" which is basically a bike deck but with some different art work and the "Smooth Finish" which is what we are here to talk about today. As a performer this deck is GOLD! the smooth finish on these cards are like no other deck I have ever worked with. They "fan"and "Farrow" smooth as glass. Smooth finish has always meant "junk"to me as far as working or performing with but this deck is like no others! The Cards are distributed thought the national division of the USPCC and generally only to over seas countries. The cards were designed to withstand the constant humidity and heat of Singapore. They come red back and blue back, standard Bicycle face but with a very unique "Ace of Spades" The backs have some great scroll artwork and each deck comes with four jokers. These are very rare to find in the U.S. and last me 5 or 6 times longer then a standard bike deck even if I perform for hours outside in the heat. They have become my favorite deck for everyday use. They only cost a few bucks more then a standard Bicycle deck but there is a world of difference. If you perform with cards you need to try this deck.

Bicycle Playing Cards, Guardians Deck

Guardians Deck, This is one of the most unique decks on the market and handles like a dream! Everyone I have ever shown this deck to for the first time says WOW! There has never been any other deck on the market that looks anything like this deck. The deck was created by "Theory 11" and produced by the United States Playing Card Company. The box says "Bicycle" but these cards were made on a much higher quality stock. Similar to a "BEE" stock. The finish is top quality. Some of the greatest card men in magic came together to make this deck and they sure delivered. The 1st edition of these cards sold out in just a few weeks. They have been reprinted and have a few slight color differences from the 1st edition but unless you hold the side by side you would never know the difference. They come with one gaff card for magicians and the jokers are among some of the coolest. This deck is for Performers, Collectors, Everyone! If I was going to be on a desert island and could only take five decks of cards this surely would be one.
